There's the Clan Colquhoun International Society and Luss Estates Tug O War; the Clan Colquhoun Pipe Band, the traditional Highland Heavies contests; the cycling hill race; the Kilted Dash; the Overseas Visitors Race; Highland Dancing; the Sthe refreshment tents.

Other highlights for the 140th anniversary games are:

John Galbraith was a long serving member of the Games Committee and all his family is coming to the Games this year - from Germany and other parts of the UK.  This will be the first time they have all come to the Games.  The family has generously sponsored the event for many years through the Memorial Edentaggart Hill Race Trophy.

Kenneth and Jean Abson visited Loch Lomond on their honeymoon 50 years ago, when Mr Abson ran in the sprint race.  They’ve been back once, 25 years ago, and are planning to come to this year’s Highland Games as they celebrate their Golden Wedding Anniversary.
